Vanilla & Cinnamon Matcha
Matcha is the powdered leaves of specifically grown Japanese Green Tea. Matcha has so many benefits, including being packed with antioxidants, being an anti inflammatory, supporting heart health, and most popularly it provides energy and focus from the caffeine without the jitters. This is because Matcha has a natural amino acid which increases serotonin & dopamine (feel good chemicals!!) and reduces anxiety!
If that's not reason enough to try adding Matcha into your diet, we've added cinnamon, vanilla & maple syrup for a tasty way to get all those good vibes into your body!
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Matcha Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- 1 teaspoon Maple Syrup (available in stores)
- 1/2 cup Almond Barista Mylk
- 1/2 cup hot water
Method
- Place matcha, cinnamon & vanilla in your favourite mug.
- Pour over boiled (but not boiling) hot water.
- Whisk with a matcha whisk or fork.
- Add Maple Syrup.
- Froth Almond Mylk (optional) and add to Matcha.
- If you prefer iced Matcha, use cold milk/water and add a cup of ice!
Makes 1 Matcha Latte.
