About

Flaxseed, also known as linseed, is one of today's best superfoods. We have sourced this brown linseed from organic farmers who harvest linseed with minimal processing. Linseed is a nutrition powerhouse that contains essential fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6), which strengthen the immune system and cleanse the arteries. It is easy to access these health benefits if the seeds are ground or chewed thoroughly. Additionally, it contains fibre, protein, B vitamins, magnesium, potassium, and zinc. Also, it has zero cholesterol and low saturated fat. Linseed has a nutty taste that lends an additional level of flavour to salads, soups, yoghurts, cereals, and baked goods.

Uses

You can add linseed to many breakfast foods, such as smoothies, granola, and muesli. Make a homemade LSA superfood mix with linseed, sunflower seeds, and almonds to assist your liver in naturally detoxifying. Use as the base for seed crackers and eat as a healthy snack.
