Uses for Wholegrain Oats

There are many ways to use whole grain rolled oats. Add your favourite milk to oats to make a thick and tasty porridge. Pour double the amount of liquid over the oats, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. For a little extra sweetness, serve it with fresh yoghurt and seasonal fruit. You can also use oats to make homemade bread, muffins, and the classic Anzac biscuit. The crunchy topping of winter warming fruit crumbles can be made with oats, desiccated coconut, and maple syrup to contrast with the warm, soft fruit base. Making fresh oat milk from wholegrain oats is the best way to reap the benefits of plant-based milk.
