MSG provides a umami flavour to dishes. Umami is the fifth basic taste, along with salty, sour, bitter and sweet. MSG is found naturally in some foods including tomatoes and cheese. MSG enhances the savory, meaty umami flavor of foods.

Uses

Add to meals when in the cooking process as you would salt or other seasonings. We recommend sprinkling 1/2 a teaspoon into meals that serve 4-6 people.
