Cayenne Pepper

Adding some spice to your food, I am a mildly hot chilli pepper! It is made from red hot chilli peppers. It is also known as the African red pepper, American red pepper, Spanish pepper, bird pepper, or Guinea pepper, as it is often referred to in the United Kingdom. Chili peppers, such as cayenne peppers, contain nutrients like vitamin B6, potassium, and magnesium. Researchers found that when participants added cayenne pepper to soup, they were less likely to desire salt, were less hungry, and felt full after eating 1 hour later.

Cayenne pepper is a fantastic addition to many savory and sweet dishes. Add some to hot chocolate for a spicy kick. Sprinkle it over eggs, add a dash to soups or stews, season dips or hummus, or top avocado toast with it.
