Traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies, this whisk is handcrafted from a single piece of bamboo that is split up to 80 times to create a perfectly smooth and foamy matcha.
After adding the matcha in your bowl (one or two spoons), add a small amount of cold water (a teaspoon) and work it slowly with the whisk into a lump-free paste. Now add your hot water & vigorously whisk in a back and forth using your wrist for at least 20 seconds. The whisk can touch the bottom of the bowl but should not be pushed down with force.
Well done, you have made a delicious frothy matcha tea! To clean your whisk, swish in a bowl of clean warm water and allow to dry before storing.
