About our Couscous
Couscous is made from durum wheat. It is milled to remove the bran and germ. Couscous is made by crushing the rest of the endosperm, known as semolina, and blending it with water and flour. Cous cous has a golden color and a mild, natural wheat flavor. Couscous is an easy and versatile pantry addition that can be prepared quickly and easily.
Uses
Couscous is a great substitute for rice or mashed potatoes as a base for stews and curries. Or used as the base for a salad. Simply add equal parts couscous to boiling water, cover and let sit for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
